New Business and Advertising Programs launched by Google



Over the past year, Google has created a platform small-time business to advertise and market their products through search. The company is hoping that these advertising and marketing tools can really help small businesses increase their profit and gain a bigger audience. Many Google products will undergo several updates next month, to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction. So, here is a list of the recent (and possible new) changes to their products:

 

• AdWords Express is an advertising tool made for local businesses. According to Google, it makes the product easier to set up and to maintain. One of the recent changes allowed PPC ads to be set up in as quickly as 5 minutes. However, many users are dissatisfied due to the program’s ability to handle advertising funds.

 

 

• TalkBin is a service that lets customers anonymously send SMS complaints to the business establishment. The advantage of this is that the business owners and staff can respond to the problems in real-time and instantaneously, making customer feedback more effectively. 

 

 

• Google+ Local pages were once originally Google Place pages. Since the upgrade, many changes have also occurred, such as circle filters for various reviews. Google+ pages can also be integrated in Google properties.  

 

 

 

• Punchd is a product that is somewhat like the loyalty punch card system. Punchd is a great program for businesses that want to employ points, rewards, and loyalty systems for their returning and regular customers.

 

 

 

• Google Wallet and Google Offers are also upcoming products. 

 

 

 

 

According to Google’s Senior Vice President of Commerce and Local, Jeff Huber, Google offers an assortment of separate marketing tools that can adjust to a local business’ needs instead of an all-in-one marketing solution. Their goal is not only for these businesses to gain more profit, but also to strengthen the relationship between the sellers and the consumers.
